Sin-ying Ho will talk with Leslie Ferrin of Ferrin Contemporary and Project Art of her ceramic productions, a mash-up of traditional Chinese culture and contemporary global ideas and imagery. Sin-Ying Ho juxtaposes Chinese images drawn from nature with man-made symbols, signs, words, and logos.
On the occasion of her exhibition at Independent Art Projects, Sin-ying Ho will discuss the role of ceramics in her life, and where she’s headed next. Her two vessels at IAP will be on view until December 25, 2014.
